Proposal Manager
The Proposal Manager must have a proven ability in planning, producing, and delivering compliant proposals within a complex business environment.
This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines.
Responsibilities:
• Identify client priorities and win themes based on likelihood of winning and value
• Facilitate discussions to bid or not to bid
• Conduct market and competitor research
• Act as point of contact for prospects
• Assemble proposal teams of resources and suggest internal and external resources
• Gather and send follow-up and clarifying questions to the clients
• Lead and manage the overall proposal development process for priority/strategic proposals as assigned
• Manage proposal templates/outlines, kickoff documentation, compliance matrices, status meetings, proposal deliverables and proposal artifact repository
• Write proposal narrative and leverage and re-use current proposal boilerplate information
• Develop the work breakdown structure for the scope of work
• Develop and maintain proposal schedules and drive proposal team in adherence to the schedule from beginning to end, ensuring timely delivery to the customer
• Delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposals within the defined timeframes
• Ensure proposals and presentations are brand compliant
• Communicate proposal requirements and status to senior management
• Submit final proposal for consideration
• Maintain re-use libraries and ensure accuracy of current information
• Maintain the RFP response database
• Track RFP data and win rate
• Other reasonable and normal duties assigned as directed by the Business Development team
Requirements:
• 5+ years’ Strong Experience leading independently end-to-end proposal efforts
• Strong time management / prioritization skills
• Strong written English language skills
• Enjoys a fast pace environment
• Ability to review and edit, as well as the author as necessary, compelling, persuasive proposals to tight deadlines and within limited page count
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat, InDesign knowledge is a plus
• Extreme attention to details
• Architecture background is a plus
