In this role, you will:
• Prospect and acquire New to Bank (NTB) International customers in the market they are based in, supporting customer needs via a reactive inbound and outbound referral model.
• Work alongside IDM to fulfil NTB opportunities generated by IDM. IDR would be approaching customers and pitching International Proposition in more detail on one-to-one basis.
• Set expectations with the customers about support HSBC can provide in the residing market as well as how HSBC can help with their needs internationally.
• Grow and deepen long-term relationships with customers by delivering outstanding service while managing queries, complaints and transactional support, through seamless coordination with Global Operations Teams and other channels as appropriate.
• Actively participate in community events where attendance of international, multi-country prospect customers is expected and engage with such customers.
• Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets.
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
Knowledge / Experience
• Graduation degree is a must – to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit
• Minimum 5 years’ experience of sales and service of retail products in customer facing roles.
• Strong understanding of UAE market, opportunities, and competition.
• Knowledge and understanding of HSBC International proposition, account opening and referral process.
• Proven track record of delivering business targets, meeting customer needs and improving customer satisfaction.
• Good understanding of credit, risk and cross border compliance policy and procedures.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Embraces diversity and is able to work with a group of people with diverse backgrounds.
