Hydraulic Mechanic
Job Description
- Conduct pre-inspection for sold equipment
- Commissions new plant equipment under supervision of senior mechanic or service engineer if required.
- Performs semi-skills (or skilled for experience mechanic) service and repair for equipment.
- Repairs and overhauls of systems like diesel engines, automatic transmission, pneumatic equipment, hydraulic equipment depend on the division.
- Checks and measures parts or reusability
- Inspects, checks and determines the nature of repair and examines parts to detect imperfections using measuring instruments as required.
- Uses and refers to service and operating manual while carrying out their assignments.
Requirements
- Technical School graduate or equivalent experience
- 2 years experience
- Appropriate safety precautions and procedure
- Knowledge of basic tools, lubricants, equipment and service procedures.
- Acceptable spoken and written English with communication skills.
