Echocardiographer
Job Description
Performing 2D ECHO examinations, demonstrating competency and proficiency with equipment in the Echo Lab.
Participating in the ordering and inventory of equipment and supplies for the Echo Cardiography.
Delivering patient care for all age groups while using diagnostic imaging equipment; acts as a liaison between the patient and the cardiologist.
Utilizing equipment and accessories and employs techniques to perform a good Echo Cardiography examination.
Performing general office duties including, filing, and maintaining patient records.
Recognizing that continuing education is vital to maintaining and advancing the profession. Keeps cardiology skills current demonstrating evidence of continuing education to include department meetings, individualized learning opportunities from cardiologists, and related classes.
Carrying out all other duties as assigned by the head of the department or the higher management of Hospital.

Qualifications
Post Graduate Diploma from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology
DOH license to practice in U.A.E.
Two years of recent related work experience as an Echo Cardiographer (cardiovascular technician) non-invasive /Special Procedure Technologist (or equivalent).
Excellent command of oral and written English. Arabic language advantageous/desirable but not essential.
Ability to adjust to group practice in an industrial environment.
