As our Social Media Content Producer & Editor, you’ll play a key role in shaping and executing our social media content strategy. You’ll be responsible for scheduling, producing, shooting, and editing social-first video content that engages our global audience. From crafting viral TikTok edits to directing high-energy shoots across the UAE, this role is for someone who understands social platforms and what makes content perform.
What will you be doing?
- Plan and schedule the weekly TikTok content calendar for our main account.
- Edit high-quality TikTok videos, Facebook Originals, and Instagram content to match our brand’s storytelling style.
- Produce, film, and edit engaging content across various platforms, ensuring strong visual storytelling.
- Direct shoots and ensure we capture all necessary footage.
- Edit and deliver commercial content when required.
- Research cars and tech products to identify strong video hooks and key visual elements before shoots.
- Organise and back up footage, maintaining a structured digital library.
- Prepare and ensure all equipment is ready for last-minute shoots.
- Work with third parties and external stakeholders to ensure smooth production execution at events like the Dubai Yacht Show.
- Monitor the performance of TikTok videos and other original content, making data-driven edits to improve engagement and profitability.
- Collaborate with the Head of Content and other stakeholders to refine and optimise video edits based on feedback.
- Use Photoshop for occasional AI editing of Instagram photos in line with evolving strategies.
What you will have done before?
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere Pro
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube content trends.
- Experience in video production and content strategy, particularly within the automotive or tech space.
- File Management & Organisation, keeping footage well-structured for easy access.
- Basic performance analysis, ability to assess content performance and optimise for engagement.
- A knack for developing engaging, thumb-stopping social media content.
- Ensuring edits, schedules, and research are spot on.
- Quick thinking to troubleshoot issues during shoots or in post-production.
- Comfortable directing shoots and liaising with talent and external teams.
