Itron’s Sales Representative Office in Dubai is responsible for end-to-end activities for International Sales and Channel Partner activities. The Coordinator reports to one of our Senior Sales Managers and will take ownership of different administrative duties.  

The role:

Finance & Accounting Activities (30%):

  • Book journal and adjusting entries.
  • Generate monthly financial reports.
  • Receive, verify, pay, and record supplier invoices.
  • Facilitate electronic payments.
  • Assist with employees’ expense reports & other payroll-related requests and submit the monthly payroll input file.
  • Awareness of compliance with existing and possible future regulations such as VAT and Corporate tax.
  • Custodian for petty cash, maintain petty cash file and submit the report monthly along with the other accounting reports.

Office Administration Activities (40%):

  • Perform reception-related tasks, such as welcoming guests and receiving phone calls.
  • Manage correspondence and logistics.
  • Track and keep stock of office stationery and pantry supplies; place orders when necessary.
  • Assist the Government Relations Officer to ensure that legal requirements are met and submitted on time, employee visas processed or renewed on time, business license renewed on time.
  • Manage accommodation and travel requirements as needed.
  • Organise corporate events & meetings as needed
  • Create purchase requisitions.
  • Support HR and IT as necessary.

Sales Administration Activities (30%)

  • Assist with creation or renewal of Channel Partner Agreements & follow-ups via Salesforce.
  • Co-ordinate tender & pre-qualification documents.
  • Monitor Warranty Claims and associated logistics.
  • Assist Sales team with Salesforce Hygiene.
  • Arrange shipments (non PO related – samples, exhibitions, documentation)

  • Have at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent collaboration skills in an international environment and matrixed organization.
  • Fluent in English
  • Analytical skills with high attention to details and accuracy
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks.
