Fleet Coordinator
Job Description
- Manage daily fleet operations, ensuring vehicle availability and optimal routing to meet organizational needs.
- Monitor fuel consumption and implement strategies for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Utilize fleet management software to track vehicle performance, mileage, and maintenance history meticulously.
- Develop and maintain effective communication with drivers to ensure adherence to schedules and safety protocols.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenditures related to fleet operations.
- Collaborate with vendors to secure competitive pricing for vehicle purchases and maintenance services.
- Manage insurance related activities
Desired Candidate Profile
- At least 3-5 years of experience in fleet management or a similar role to ensure familiarity with industry practices.
- Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite to manage data effectively and efficiently.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret fleet performance data and make strategic recommendations.
