SAP Data Architect
Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement data architecture solutions that align with business requirements and IT strategy.
Develop and maintain data models for SAP, Sybase, and Azure databases, ensuring performance and scalability.
Define and enforce data governance policies, including data standards, data quality, and data security protocols.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to integrate SAP modules and ensure data consistency across the landscape.
Lead data migration projects, including data cleansing, mapping, and validation activities.
Provide expertise in SAP HANA, BW/4HANA, and other SAP data management technologies.
Design and implement data solutions on Azure, using services like Azure SQL Database, Data Factory, Data Lake Store, Data Lake Analytics, Stream Analytics, Azure Storage, and Cosmos DB
Monitor and optimize the performance of the data environment.
Develop and maintain documentation for data architectures, models, and procedures.
Conduct regular data audits and implement corrective measures to ensure data integrity.
Train and mentor team members on data architecture best practices and data management tools.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
1. 10plus years of experience in data architecture, with a focus on SAP, Sybase, and Azure Data Technologies.
2. Strong understanding of SAP modules and integration points.
3. Experience with data migration tools and techniques, including ETL processes.
4. Knowledge of database technologies used with SAP, such as SAP HANA and SAP ASE.
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
