  • Minimum 1 year of experience on similar role
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Very presentable and well groomed
  • Very attentive and be able to think on his feet
  • Extremely agile as the job demands speed and efficiency in its execution
  • Excellent Knowledge about the City/ UAE
  • Being part of Cle d’Or association and having the keys is a plus

FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Perform check in an check out of guests on PMS and complete standards.
  • Be responsible for maintaining guest profiles to ensure an accurate source of information on each guest’s needs and preferences.
  • Efficiently handle all front desk administrative tasks, ensuring guest account accuracy and proper billing/credit card processing in line with local charge limit regulations.
  • Escort guests to rooms.
  • Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving property.
  • Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation.
  • Identify and explain room features to guests (e.g., use of room key, mini-bar, ice and vending areas, in-room safe, valet laundry services).
  • Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or designated bell area.
  • Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including assisting guests with loading/unloading luggage.
  • To ensure that guest luggage records are accurately maintained, and all special requests are met.
  • Supply guests with directions.
  • Arrange transportation (e.g., taxicab, shuttle bus) for guests/visitors, and record advance transportation request as needed.
  • Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors.
  • Develops a strong knowledge of the hotel’s facilities and services as well of the surrounding community.
  • Provides guests with information about attractions, facilities, services, and activities in or outside the property.
  • Obtains necessary itinerary tickets.
  • Makes guest reservations for the theatre and other forms of entertainment when requested.
  • Obtains necessary tickets and provides directions to facilities.
  • Organizes special functions as directed by management.
  • To ensure a proper use of the telephone etiquette standards.
  • To ensure front services are provided as per standards in valet, bellman and doorman operations
  • To ensure that all necessary equipment are maintained properly with sufficient stock for day to day operations.
  • To ensure that all sections have proper coverage of staff at all times.
  • To ensure that guest luggage records are accurately maintained, and all special requests are met.
  • Stay current and up to date with all hotel services as well as daily VIP requests and special events.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents or injuries.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (These responsibilities are mandatory to all positions)
  • To attend all departmental meetings, briefings & internal or external training sessions as required.
  • Establishes and maintains an inclusive environment by ensuring effective two ways communication processes are set up.
