Emirates NBD, the leading Banking Group in the MENAT region, was formed on 19 June 1963, when H.H. Late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum signed the Charter of Incorporation of the National Bank of Dubai (NBD) which became the first National Bank established in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). With the blessings of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, NBD merged with Emirates Bank International (EBI) on 06 March 2007, to form Emirates NBD, the largest banking group in the region by assets. On 16 October 2007, the shares of Emirates NBD were officially listed on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM). Graduate Trainee – RBWM Business Marketing
Job Description
Job Purpose:
The “Marketing Trainee/ Officer” will be responsible for managing the day-to-day marketing tasks and delivery of marketing communications for Business Marketing Campaigns. He/She will assist the “Business Marketing Manager” in follow up with agencies and internal cross functional teams for day-to-day tasks such as development of creatives, finalization of artworks, copy proofing, creation & changes in website, broadcast of EDMs & SMS campaigns.
The “Marketing Trainee / Officer” will also work with different business teams to develop briefs and requirements of various marketing interventions. He/She will develop a brief based on those requirements and work with the agencies to develop meaningful concepts & creatives. Get approvals from business and then take it to execution & implementation.
A typical marketing project/ campaign would involve the following stages:
1. Various meetings with Business/ Product heads, understanding the business challenge
2. Translating business requirement to a marketing brief
3. Doing a competition scan/ benchmarking exercise (wherever relevant)
4. Deploy agency teams to create concepts or campaign plans
5. Discuss plans/ concepts with business for approval
6. In parallel work with cross functional teams on the campaign broadcast
