Manager – Financial Audit

Key Accountabilities:

• Manage and ensuring the achievement of Internal Audit KPIs.
• Manage the annual Financial Audit as planned and assist CAE Internal Control in preparation of risk assessment and overall annual Internal Audit plan.
• Develop and present performance analysis and status report of Financial Audit performance to CAE.
• Prioritize special audit based on risk rating and urgency of work referred by CAE.
• Achieve and retain effective working relationships with relevant stakeholders. Communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing to concern stakeholders.
• Planning and supervising of audit assignments including objectives and scope and the audit approach.
• Audit testing of specified area and identifies reportable issues and dimension of risk.
• Ensuring that financial audit team validates observations with the business owners and obtaining the action plans and timelines
• Assess the Financial Audit function’s compliance with internal control department’s Manual (policy and procedures).
• Manage and evaluate the reliability and integrity of Financial Audit areas inside the company. Address issues raised through the whistle blowing channels.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in relevant area

Experience:

• 7-12 years of experience in the Telecoms industry
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Business Administration/Finance
• CFA/CA a must with IFRS Certification
• Other studies related to audit will be an asset (i.e. Preferred certification like CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CIA)
