The Sustainable and Innovative Transport Demand (SIT-D) Laboratory in the Division of Engineering, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit four postdoctoral associates to work on a large project on the use of Immersive Virtual Reality to study users’ preferences for innovative transport systems. The successful applicants will drive a fascinating sub-project that involves enhancing the understanding and the mathematical modelling of the decision process using a variety of neurophysiological measurements in VR experiments.
Successful applicants must have a PhD in a field related to behavioural analysis and mathematical modelling and demonstrated experience with neurophysiological measurements, as well as data collections and field experiments. Knowledge of Unity platform or Unreal Engine is desirable.
