What you will do
The Technical Maintenance Assistant will be reporting directly to the Field Line Manager – HVAC, Aftermarket. As part of the HVAC Aftermarket team, you will be based in Abu Dhabi and will assist the Technical team in the installation, servicing, repair, and preventative maintenance of refrigeration systems and equipment, including Centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and heat exchangers.
How you will do it
As a Technical Maintenance Assistant, you will focus on maintenance and repair within set timeframes and according to defined processes, service agreements, and customer needs. You will conduct planned site/customer visits and resolve customer requests/calls as dispatched. You will develop positive customer relationships, ensuring proactive feedback and documentation of the customer’s equipment and systems status and work completed.
What we look for
Required
- Good product knowledge and overall system understanding
- Minimum 3 years’ experience
- High school education with a 2-year Air Conditioning and refrigeration trade certificate
- Knowledge in servicing and maintenance of cooling towers, pumps, and heat exchangers
- Technical knowledge of HVAC systems, particularly Chillers, brazing, vacuum, and pressure testing
- Ability to read and understand electrical single line diagrams of HVAC systems
- Document work completed clearly and concisely and promptly submit service reports
- Ensure compliance with environmental and industry regulations, where required
- In addition to the above-mentioned tasks, other activities and responsibilities may be defined individually
- Fluent language skills in English
