Team/Function Paragraph: The Business Development team drives Ingram Micro’s innovative strategies, focusing on vendor sales and market expansion. Collaborate with regional partners to implement global initiatives and adapt strategies to address the unique needs of your market. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining current business relationships, improving inactive accounts, and creating new business opportunities.

The Job in a Nutshell: As the Business Development Manager – Vertiv, you will drive and improve vendor sales while meeting the vendor and company objectives and targets. You will micro-manage all layers of the sales channel, improving product depth and market share for all tiers. Your focus will be on maintaining current business relationships, improving inactive accounts, and creating new business opportunities. You will be aware of all project bids and target Ingram Micro involvement in them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations.
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts.
  • Proactively lead a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones.
  • Drive adoption of company programs among assigned partners.

Experiences, Skills, and Expectations:

  • Graduate with 3-5 years of experience in IT.
  • Experienced in Networking and Vertiv or similar products.
  • Enthusiastic and driven by results with a strong will to succeed.
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, and a team player.
  • Strong ‘customer-first’ mentality able to utilize relationships to drive results.
