Serving the Abu Dhabi Hospitality Academy- Les Roches and departmental mission, the Admission Officer provides administrative support to the admission and registry functions of the institution. They support lead services related to student registration, and ensures that published admission criteria are respected. Supervise and interact with external legal authorities as well as enrollment teams and internal departments to gather all necessary information in order to ensure a smooth admission process.
Key Responsibilities
Student Records:
- Partake in maintaining complete, accurate, to-date records of all student records of current and past students.
- Contribute to sustainably maintaining the student information system (Academia).
- Support the preparation and issuance of official documents such as transcripts, enrolment verifications and ID cards.
Admissions:
- Assess and process new students’ applications at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in accordance with ADHA-LR and LR policies, entry requirements, timelines and guidelines.
- Issue acceptance packages including the acceptance letter, proforma invoices, visa application form and other administrative forms required prior to admission.
- Liaise with Public Relation Officer (PRO) with regards to student visa and insurance formalities.
- Liaise with Finance department with regards to confirmation of payment received from applicants and current students.
- Carry out and follow up on the collection of missing admission documents and the authentication procedure for the required original documents (Diploma, Final Transcripts, English Certificate) to ensure that the students’ award eligibility is fulfilled from the admission perspective.
- Coordinate with other departments to facilitate the onboarding of new students.
Registry:
- Assist with student registration and course enrolment.
- Processes and maintains applications from students for intercollege transfers, withdrawals, reenrolments, readmissions and program changes.
- Coordinate with academic departments to ensure timely registration and scheduling.
- Participate in admission and registration events, including orientation and open house days.
- Perform general clerical duties including filing, data entry and document management.
