Emirates NBD, the leading Banking Group in the MENAT region, was formed on 19 June 1963, when H.H. Late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum signed the Charter of Incorporation of the National Bank of Dubai (NBD) which became the first National Bank established in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). With the blessings of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, NBD merged with Emirates Bank International (EBI) on 06 March 2007, to form Emirates NBD, the largest banking group in the region by assets. On 16 October 2007, the shares of Emirates NBD were officially listed on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM). JOB PURPOSE
Develop and run a sustainable a team of functional managers and analysts who are responsible for supporting the business requirements on credit, which included from credit analysis to documentation and post support for specific credit processes. Build a culture of data and analytics and support the business with technology on credit risk management.
As Head of Private Banking Credit and Portfolio Management, you will be acting as the spoke for business that interacts with Credit, Risk, Credit Administration, Technology and Client for risk products across the ENBD Group. Managing the Private Banking platform for all Private Banking risk data and analytics across the ENBD Group.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Credit lifecycle management for the portfolio of risk products
- Provide the operational support required for RMs to function on sales.
- Act as he second line of defense in business on risk acceptance
- Control and where possible drive portfolio return.
- Ensure availability of accurate data for users of business risk data
- Credit Processes and Documentation
- Enhance the data and visualization to support efficient decision-making using platforms. Create a risk aware business function
REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Masters/bachelor’s in finance
Experiences
- 15+ years’ experience
- Industry: Banking, NBFC or IT/ Finance
- Regional – Not Applicable
- Functional – Risk, Credit, LoB domain knowledge
