Business Development Lead

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Team Lead to spearhead the expansion of our garage and service network across the UAE. As a key member of our fast-growing Insurtech platform, which is transforming motor insurance and claims automation through technology, you will lead a team focused on identifying, onboarding, and managing vehicle repair partners.
You will work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of garages into our ecosystem, while ensuring high service quality, SLA compliance, and strong partner relationships. This role combines strategic planning, team leadership, and hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and mentor a team of Business Development Executives focused on partner acquisition and enablement across the UAE.
    • Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the garage network, increase partner engagement, and meet revenue and onboarding targets.
    • Drive commercial negotiations, SLA structuring, and onboarding processes with garages, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships.
    • Champion the adoption of our SaaS platform among garage partners for claims processing, workflow automation, and operational analytics.
    • Monitor team performance, provide regular coaching, and optimize sales effectiveness through field support and training.
    • Conduct high-level sales pitches, demos, and relationship management with key garage stakeholders and regional service operators.
    • Oversee partner performance, address escalations, and implement continuous improvement initiatives based on field insights.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Operations, and Support) to ensure partner satisfaction and rapid issue resolution.
    • Gather market intelligence and provide structured feedback to inform product enhancements and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
    • 6+ years of progressive experience in business development, preferably in automotive services or SaaS/ERP solutions, with at least 2 years in a team lead or supervisory role.
    • Strong knowledge of garage operations, vehicle repairs, or digital workflows.
    • Proven ability to lead field teams, manage partner relationships, and meet performance goals.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
    • Proficient in CRM platforms, sales reporting, and Excel.
    • Valid UAE driving license required (field-based leadership role).
