Purchase Officer
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, negotiate, and procure materials, equipment, and services as per company requirements.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time, and best prices to ensure future purchases.
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Process purchase orders, track orders, and ensure timely delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships and resolve any supply issues.
- Review purchase requisitions for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of prior experience in procurement or purchase operations in the UAE.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of procurement software and MS Office tools.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with local market trends and logistics is a plus.
