Business Supervision Manager

Key Responsibilities

•    Good understanding of Private Banking, wealth products, have experience of Relationship Manager engagement with client such as the do’s and don’t’s.
•    Conduct timely assurance checks relating Private Bank controls in areas such as Suitability and Sales Assurance, Pricing related, cross border or other processes deemed relevant by process owner.
•    Perform focused checks based on identified risk, trade trends, business requirement, process roll outs, system functionality etc.
•    Support key projects related to Suitability and Sales assurance, cross border, pricing etc..
•    Maintain an ongoing awareness of new policy and procedure roll outs, especially those related to Investment Suitability, trade execution and cross border activities.
•    Collaborate with front office and support functions to ensure that robust controls are in place and are well deployed while balancing client experience.
•    Advising and guiding the Private Banking Front Office and support functions with respect to Investment trade suitability queries and internal policies and procedures.
•    Private Bank complaints handling, process operating instructions updates and reporting.
•    Oversee the suitability and appropriateness of investments for Private Bank – DIFC

•  Good English language skills.
•  Proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.
•  Risk awareness & management skills.
•  Knowledge of DIFC regulations.
•  Great communication & presentation skills.
•  Knowledge of Financial markets & investment products.
•  Governance skills and knowledge
•  Analytical skills to understand issues and provide solutions.
