Document Controller
Job Purpose:
Energy Efficiency department document controller.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation/compilation/editing of project documentation (inspection requests, material/technical/method statement submittals)
- Following and improving document control procedures
- Distribute project related documents to client and internal teams
- Ensure documents are shared at key times to facilitate timely project completion
- File documents in physical and digital records
- Create templates for future use
- Manage the flow of documentation within the organization
- Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement
- Copy, scan, and store documents
- Ensuring all documentation meets formal requirements and required standards
- Sorting, storing, and retrieving electronic and hard copy documents on behalf of clients and internal team members
- Documentation required for issuance of Purchase Orders
- Inventory records of the materials in stores
Skills Required:
- Proven work experience as a Document Controller or similar role
- Familiarity with project documentation process
- Hands-on experience with MS Office and MS Excel
- Knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS)
- Proficient typing and editing skills
- Data organization skills
- Administration skills
- Be thorough and pay attention to detail
- Able to work well with others
- Customer service skills
- Knowledge of the English language
- Work well under pressure
- Flexible and open to location change
- Able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in information system and technology, management or similar
