HSE Officer
Noorka Logistics, a prominent logistics and transportation company based in Dubai, is looking for a proactive and safety-focused HSE Officer to oversee health, safety, and environmental standards across our operations. This role is essential in ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements in the logistics sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines across the organization.
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to ensure compliance with UAE health and safety regulations.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, or near misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations.
- Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to employees and subcontractors.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce safety rules.
- Maintain records of HSE performance, training logs, and safety documentation.
- Coordinate with authorities for permits, safety inspections, and compliance certifications.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and environmental responsibility throughout the company.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience as an HSE Officer, preferably in logistics, warehousing, or transportation.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and international safety standards.
- Certification in NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is mandatory.
- Strong communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify hazards and implement corrective actions effectively.
- Proficient in MS Office and safety management systems.
