Job Purpose
To manage and develop the in-store team in order to drive revenue, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and uphold brand image. This role ensures operational compliance, maximises sales opportunities, and cultivates a performance-driven, customer-focused culture.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities
Drive sales, monitor KPIs, and identify commercial opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
Cultivate a culture of customer excellence through active leadership and handling of escalated service issues.
Minimise stock loss by implementing and adhering to ATG’s policies and operational standards.
Analyse sales and stock data to optimise inventory levels and identify commercial opportunities.
Provide performance and trend reports to ensure visibility of key metrics to Planning and Buying teams.
Lead and coordinate stock takes in collaboration with the Operations team.
Support and execute sales promotions and brand events through effective planning, preparation, and feedback.
Maintain visual merchandising standards in line with brand guidelines and store presentation expectations.
Monitor sales per square foot to maximise store productivity.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Stay informed of market trends and competitor activity, sharing relevant insights and recommendations.
Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.
Understand the customer profile and provide relevant feedback to Marketing, Buying, and Planning teams.
People Management Responsibilities
Provide clear leadership and strategic direction to the store team to achieve business goals.
Motivate, coach, and develop team members to maximise their potential and prepare them for future growth opportunities.
Foster a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement and high performance.
Job Requirements
Education & Certifications
Graduate in any discipline.
Experience
5–7 years of proven experience successfully managing and running a profitable retail store, ideally within the beauty segment.
