The Emirates Group is hiring a Revenue Optimisation Analyst (Emiratisation position) in Dubai to analyze data, support pricing strategies, and improve revenue performance. The role is suitable for UAE National candidates with strong analytical and commercial skills.

Revenue Optimisation Analyst – Emiratisation Position

Job Purpose

At Emirates our Revenue Optimization team is responsible for managing a combination of pricing, demand, and marketing strategies. We work to maximize revenue growth for our organisation, ensuring Emirates Group continues to reach its targets!

As Revenue Optimisation Analyst, you will manage Emirates revenue management disciplines to ensure Emirates Airline revenue and yield is maximised, with EK’s competitive position maintained on a regional and network basis. Ensure and maintain accurate forecasts through the formulation of market analysis and strategies, facilitating proactive decision making in offering/withdrawing prices and inventory thus optimising network revenue. Develop and maintain expertise around revenue management principles and techniques.

You will develop and maintain expertise around revenue management principles and techniques. This role is part of the Standards and Procedures team with focus on coaching and upskilling RO staff & trainees as well as managing staff engagement and internal communication.

In this role, you will:

Generic

  • Optimise network revenues across all Origins and Destinations, including new routes, using processes, procedures and controls related to Pricing, Origin and Destination forecasting and flight optimisation through inventory control.
  • Evaluate market trends, forward bookings, competitor behaviour, performance of past initiatives and offer proactive recommendations and actions to drive network revenue daily. Using data sourced from multiple sources such as PROS, local sales offices, ATPCO, pricing systems, assess competitor activity, recommend, and prepare competitive responses and strategies aimed at retaining market share and optimising revenue.
  • Analyse passenger demand at market/flight level based on historical data, capacity, competitor environment and other factors.
  • Audit and ensure RO standards and procedures are followed to through both the regional RO Market Operations team, Inventory and Commercial Operations.
  • Provide guidance and requirements to both the RO Standards and Procedures team and the RO Systems team on operational requirements for business process and system development.
  • Manage internal relationships ensuring Revenue Optimisation alignment with Commercial objectives alongside those of other internal stake holders; SVP-CO, RMCO, Area/Sales Managers, Corporate Communications, Skywards, EGIT, EKAS, Planning and other departments.

Standards and Procedures

  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures and policies for all key RO functions including pricing, inventory, groups and demand management. Ensure documentation is regularly reviewed, updated, agreed, communicated and understood across all RO operational teams.
  • Collaborate with Systems & Business Support, Analytics, Operations Research and IT teams to establish a robust QC process with alerts, exceptions against each critical process. Ensure training material is up-to-date and controlled on RO SharePoint, conduct trainings for RO new joiners, existing staff, UAE national trainees, commercial trainees, interns as and when required.
  • Coordinate closely with the Learning & Talent function to provide subject matter expertise, design digital learning solutions, deliver facilitated sessions and ensure that all learning initiatives are reviewed, aligned, and compliant with the Group’s learning governance, processes, and standards.
Qualification

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements: 

  • Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) with 5+ years’ experience in Commercial/Sales and Revenue Optimisation.
  • 5 years experience in revenue management or a commercial department as well as experience in the use of ATPCO, Airfare, Infare, PROS, Group Handling, Software development. Exposure to office automation environment as well as analytical skills, ability to perform statistical analysis of various business situations for revenue enhancement. Certificate/diploma in international ticketing and fare construction from IATA, UFTAA or a recognised airline in-house training facility.
  • Certified by ATPCO in courses that pertain to the coding and electronic distribution of fares and rules. Knowledge of fares certification obtained through Industry, IATA and in house sponsored and approved courses.
  • Experience in any other programming languages such as Java, Python, R or C++.
  • Strong analytical skills and proven ability to work at all levels and across different cultures.

Will be considered a plus:

  • Experience in video or photo editing tools.
  • Comfort in public speaking and participation in project campaigns.
