Full – Job Description

1. Job Purpose

The role holder is responsible for validating transaction processing, supporting Business Units on operational matters, and ensuring all activities are executed in line with established procedures and regulatory requirements.

The Assistant Manager will contribute to operational excellence, enhance service delivery, and support strategic initiatives to improve efficiency and customer experience.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Validate and approve transaction processing in line with defined standards
• Provide operational support and resolve queries for Branches and Business Units
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and CBUAE guidelines
• Act as a technical reference point for complex transactions and issues
• Manage reconciliation activities and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Liaise with Back Office for archival documentation and tracking
• Support account closure activities and cheque return processes
• Participate in UATs and operational improvement initiatives

3. Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of banking operations and processes
• Good understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

4. Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or related field
• 4–6 years of experience in banking operations or processing roles
• UAE banking experience preferred
