We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice – Admin to join our engineering consultancy team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain practical experience and develop administrative and organizational skills in a fast-paced, professional environment. You will play a key support role in day-to-day administrative operations and project documentation while learning the fundamentals of working in an engineering consultancy.
Your new role, what’s involved?
Assist with general office administration including filing, data entry, document control, and correspondence.
Support project teams by organizing and maintaining project documentation.
Help prepare reports, meeting minutes, spreadsheets, and presentations.
Maintain electronic and physical filing systems for easy retrieval of records.
Assist in scheduling meetings, coordinating calendars, and managing office supplies.
Learn to use internal systems such as Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and project platforms (e.g., Aconex, Unifier).
Provide support during internal and external audits by organizing required documentation.
Liaise with engineers and technical staff to ensure accurate record-keeping and document formatting.
Contribute to maintaining a smooth and efficient office environment.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Enrolled in or recently completed an administrative, business, or office management course.
Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to learn and work collaboratively in a professional setting.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
