Overview of the Role:

The Assistant Events Manager at Dubai Festival City Mall is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and evaluation of a wide range of events and activations within the mall. This role requires a dynamic individual with a passion for event management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. The Assistant Events Manager will play a critical role in enhancing the mall’s reputation as a premier destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment by ensuring that events are executed seamlessly and deliver outstanding customer experiences.

  • Preparation, ownership and administration of events budget.
  • Events management
  • Operating within agreed budget- Minimizing costs and optimizing ROI
  • Negotiation with suppliers
  • Identification of suitable sponsorship opportunities
  • Liaise with external parties and getting the necessary leverage/ exposure for the company
  • Retailer interaction, meetings, and presentations

What Equips you for the role: 

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • Diploma in Marketing/ Events with 5 – 7 years in a well-established events management company, Mall or retailer in Europe or UAE (with good knowledge of the local marketing in terms of events/festivals/ded/dtcm/suppliers/agencies and companies engaged in events management)
  • Events experience
  • Retailer/Mall experience
