Assistant Procurement Manager Supply Chain
We are seeking to hire an experienced Assistant Procurement Manager to join our Supply Chain team. You will serve as the main point of contact for the Falcon Supply Chain Department in your capacity as Assistant Procurement Manager. To effectively support Falcon Aviation Operations, the assistant procurement manager must also stay current on market trends, legislative requirements, and cost-effective procurement strategies. This will be a full-time position based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Required candidate profile:
Essential Criteria
- Proficient communication skills in English.
- Bachelors in Engineering, or advanced degree, or equivalent.
- CIPS/CPP/CPPM Certification.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in procurement with 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Ability to use Inventory systems for [store/warehouse module].
- Ability to read, understand & interpret approved maintenance documentation e.g. – IPC, AMM, RSPL, SB, etc.
- Knowledge of aviation-related warranty and guarantee procedures.
- Knowledge of Aviation Quality SOPs, and Airworthiness Authorities requirements related to material management.
- Knowledge of import and export rules and regulations in the UAE and in relevant countries.
- Understanding and awareness of key business functions, policies, procedures, and processes.
