JOB TITLE Assistant Project Manager

DEPARTMENT/ENTITY Business Development, Richemont
LOCATION Dubai
MAIN PURPOSE
The Assistant Project Manager will coordinate business development projects initiative and assists in key project phases.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project management:
- Assess project feasibility and business cases
- Assess high level project feasibility and scoping to meet business needs
- If applicable, determine with Maisons the business case to implement the project
- Define high level project planning in line with the regional/global roadmap to ensure team mobilization.
- Define project scope, approach and project plan
- Define or oversee definition of project plans and scope
- Determine and establish relevant project teams.
- Determine if external consultants or contractors are required.
- Define roles and responsibilities within project team.
- Ensure that laws, group guidelines and compliance are adhered to.
- Execute and Monitor Projects
- Define project mode of operandi.
- Establish critical path and ensure that overall project output is delivered on time.
- Execute project according to project plan with identified sponsor and project team.
- Manage project budget and resources.
- Guide and lead team to achieve project objective and project management best practices
- Effectively lead in times of delay/crisis and ensure project is back on track.
- Where applicable, draw up necessary processes, procedures and policies.
- Communicate project progress to stakeholders, sponsors as required and defined.
- Develop necessary tools and reporting where required.
- Review and Debrief Projects
- Conduct post project evaluation to ensure learning is applied in future projects.
SKILLS NEEDED
- Strong presentation preparation skills
- Highly organized with attention to details
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Collaborative, strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read, write & speak English. Knowledge of local Arabic or French would be an asset
- Problem solver, simplify complex workflows
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Tech-savvy and data-driven
- Willingness to learn new tools
- Regional experience would be beneficial
- Previous exposure to Retail business would be a plus
