Job Responsibilities

• Carrying out the cleaning, blasting and painting operations in accordance with the relevant instructions given by Production management.
• Determine paint flow, viscosity and coating quality by performing visual inspections when mixing.
• Taking all safety precautions and protective measures required for the work.
• Maintenance of blasting and painting equipment as required.
• Maintain production schedules and manage time to complete tasks while striving for zero defects.
• Inspect product to verify that it meets coverage requirements.
• Ensure that the safety, quality and environment requirements of the yard are strictly followed.
• Perform other job related duties as assigned by the Production Management.
• Responsible for the general housekeeping and cleaning of area of working.
• All other duties as assigned

Required Skills / Knowledge

• Knowledge of the tools, equipment, materials, and application techniques common to the painting trade.
• Skills in the preparation and application of paints, stains, and surface preparation materials to wide variety of surfaces.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret work orders, shop orders, and work instructions to complete the tasks.

Experience

• Experience in related field gained in engineering workshop standards.

Education Requirements

• SSLC or Metric Standard.
• Experience in related field gained in engineering workshop standards.
