Brand Executive

We are currently recruiting for a Brand Executive to join our Marketing team. The role will be based in our regional hubb in Media City.

In the UAE, Cognita is proud to lead the Repton Family of Schools, which includes Repton Dubai, Repton Al Barsha, and Repton Abu Dhabi. These schools deliver outstanding British curriculum education. Complementing the schools, Cognita also oversees Dovecote nurseries, with 2 nurseries across the UAE, providing a strong foundation for early years education.

Job Purpose:
The Brand Executive is responsible for driving brand consistency, ensuring that all visual and written content reflects each school’s unique value proposition. This position ensures brand consistency, coordinates multi-channel marketing campaigns, and supports the creation of compelling content. The role involves supporting social media coordination and planning, event planning and coordination, liaising with suppliers and school teams, and providing quality control across all communication channels—digital, print, PR, and offline marketing. The Brand Executive will assist the Brand Manager and Head of Marketing in executing high-impact campaigns, optimizing parent experience initiatives, and generating conversion-driven content in both English and Arabic across the GCC region.

Main duties and responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & campaign Coordination:

Assist in planning, executing, and optimizing integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, PR, and offline platforms.
Manage and coordinate all marketing activities on Monday.com
Coordinate all marketing activities with schools and ensure timely and accurate brief for Design, Brand and social media team
Develop and manage content calendars to ensure timely execution of marketing initiatives in line with brand guidelines and each individual school’s key messaging house.
Collaborate with school-based experience teams to align marketing efforts with student enrolment goals.
Support the Brand Manager with the analysis and reporting of campaign performance.

 Brand Consistency & Quality Control in English and Arabic
Ensure all marketing materials—digital, print, offline, and PR—adhere to brand guidelines.
Conduct regular audits of school branding across websites, social media, newsletters, and print materials.
Provide guidance and corrective measures where inconsistencies are identified.
Proofread and edit press releases, website content, and marketing collateral to ensure messaging clarity and brand alignment in both English and Arabic

360° Marketing Campaign Coordination on English and Arabic channels
Assist in the coordination and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across emailers, advertorials, PR, and offline content to enhance parent experience and conversions.Work with suppliers, agencies, and internal teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.
Develop event collateral, signage, and branding.
Support photography and videography scheduling, production, and editing to ensure brand-aligned content.

Content & Communications Coordination with PR Agency:
Assist in drafting and reviewing press releases, ensuring they are compelling, accurate, and aligned with branding guidelines.
Coordinate interviews, and press opportunities with schools alongside the PR agency.
Ensure consistency in communications across all PR and media channels.

Events & Parent Experience Initiatives:
Plan and coordinate marketing support for school events, open days, and community events.
Develop branded event collateral, signage, and promotional materials.
Support the scheduling, production, and editing of photography and videography.
Assist in creating high-conversion event calendars to enhance engagement and recruitment.

Collaboration & Supplier Management:
Coordinate with external suppliers for the production of branded marketing materials.
Ensure smooth collaboration with design teams to develop creative assets for schools across various online platforms
Supporting content creation across websites and newsletters in English and Arabic for school teams and Cognita ME Enrich Me.

Newsletter Design & Execution:
Design and manage newsletters to ensure engaging and informative communication from schools and Cognita ME Enrich Me with prospective parents and new joiners enrolled for next academic years.
Collaborate with school teams to curate content, ensuring consistency with branding and key messages.
Optimize newsletter templates for readability, engagement, and conversion.
Track open rates, click-through rates, and engagement metrics to improve performance.

Qualifications: 
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or a related role, preferably in the education sector or an agency.

Technical Skills: 
Proven ability to support and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns.
Strong understanding of branding principles and marketing best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and content creation.

Non-Technical Skills:
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with a proactive and positive approach to managing workload and deadlines.
Flexibility to travel within the UAE and occasionally beyond, as required, for school visits and events.
Valid driver’s license and access to a car for transportation to different schools in the UAE.
