About the role

Work Location       : Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Food Service plays a pivotal role as a strategic growth platform for Kerry Group, significantly shaping our business trajectory and facilitating the realization of our strategic goals and vision. In this role, you will hold the responsibility of spearheading growth through marketing initiatives tailored to Middle East and Africa Foodservice Customers, all while collaborating closely with the Food Services General Manager (GM) and the broader commercial team.

Your primary focus will be on cultivating actionable insights, leading marketing endeavors, and implementing the foodservice business plan across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, with a special emphasis on our DaVinci Gourmet (DVG) brand.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be paramount as you ensure unparalleled customer engagement. Your ability to harness insights will enable the creation of a comprehensive go-to-market strategy that seamlessly aligns with our business objectives and capitalizes on growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities

Strategy/ Opportunity management / Customer Management

  • Own the develop and execute a localized MEA foodservice plan for our DVG brand
  • Support with execution of Best-in-class customer engagement experience
  • Support the opportunity pipeline for both new and existing customers, aligning and prioritizing to strategic focus and plans.
  • Review success of marketing activation plans for FS across MEA against key KPIs.
  • Drive demand creation and performance aligned to account plans.

Consumer Insights

  • Stay well-informed of changes in competitive landscape and to enable design differentiated strategies and positioning.
  • Develop and own a comprehensive understanding of current channel / dynamics, consumer trends, key customers positions and strategies, etc.
  • Partner with regional insights team to deliver compelling proprietary market and consumer insights that drive and support channel / Sub-Region strategic commercial decisions.
  • Use data to assess success of previous campaigns/ initiatives and recommend corrective action where necessary.

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing or product management, preferably within the FMCG or Food & Beverage industry, ideally in a multinational company setting.
  • Strong in analyzing consumer, marketing, and sales data with strong analytical capabilities to anticipate both internal and external customer needs.
  • Proven ability in project time management, adept at handling multiple details and deadlines within a matrix organization.
  • Strong consulting and facilitation skills, characterized by diplomacy and collaboration.
  • A genuine passion for engaging actively across all business sectors.
  • Proficiency in business-level English language communication is essential. Fluency in Arabic would be an added advantage.
