Business Analyst
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage business requirements of new feature being implemented for inhouse software products with primary focus on Specification and Implementation of digital workflows and system integrations.
- Conducts usability level change impact analysis to assess the potential implications of change, functions and requirements desired by key stakeholders in system.
- Maintain and manage the requirements, assign priorities, and keep status track of requirements according to product roadmap.
- To develop, update and deliver presentations to clients highlighting product features and its technical capabilities.
- Identify patterns, trends and other relationships to determine ways to improve and/or resolve issues and resolve deadlocks and conflicts.
- Analyses the feasibility of requirements and develop requirements for new systems and enhancements to existing systems; ensures the system design fits the needs of the users.
- Must have working knowledge in Agile practices and working experience with Scrum teams.
- Participate in Sprint Review meetings, discuss completed work, present the upcoming backlog, and plan the next sprint
- Manage and maintain product backlog, ensuring clarity, prioritization, and regular updates based on business value and market conditions
- Identify and manage dependencies between backlog items, teams, and external factors that may impact project progress
- Engage with stakeholders to gather input and feedback, and manage expectations regarding the product roadmap and delivery
- Collaborate with team to address any impediments hindering progress or meeting the DoD
- Accept user stories as ‘done’ by confirming they meet acceptance criteria and deliver expected business value
- Engage with stakeholders, provide progress updates, and gather feedback for future iterations
- Act as a bridge between Business/Customers and Technology.
- Experience in insurance industries would be plus.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
- Should have at least 5 years previous experience in similar role, and 7-10 years of IT industry experience, insurance domain experience will be plus.
- Dedicated and highly skilled in driving the development and enhancement of applications.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic will be plus.
- Showing excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, with a strong grasp of the product development lifecycle.
- Able to prioritize and manage a product backlog based on business value and market needs
- Ready to join a multicultural, dynamic team and flexible to work onsite, hybrid, and client premises (if required).
- Excellent in interpersonal skills with forward thinking approach.
- Active listener and presentation skills.
- Expertise in Software platforms, SaaS, CRM, digital products, and strong background in SDLC.
