Business Development Associate
- Assist the manager in preparing proposals for new FBO projects and business development opportunities.
- Conduct financial analysis to evaluate the commercial viability of FBO expansion or other business development projects requiring physical CapEx.
- Analyze market and operational data to assess potential risks and returns for proposed projects.
- Develop high-quality presentations and decks for internal and external stakeholders to support FBO proposals and initiatives.
- Manage tenders and projects involving multiple moving parts, such as design, payments, and stakeholder coordination.
- Work closely with internal departments (e.g., Finance, Legal, Process Excellence) to ensure all necessary documentation, payments, and processes are completed accurately and on time.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with top-level executives from airport authorities, aviation companies, and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure clear and effective collaboration with clients and partners.
- Coordinate with various internal teams to align objectives, resolve challenges, and ensure seamless execution of projects.
- Act as a liaison between departments to streamline workflows and maintain project momentum.
- Provide additional support on business development projects as needed to drive the department’s objectives forward.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Additional certifications (e.g., CFA Level 1, CPA, or similar) are a plus but not mandatory.
2 to 3 years of experience in business development, financial analysis, strategy consulting, or project management.
Hands-on experience in financial modeling, return analysis, and assessing the commercial viability of projects.
Prior exposure to client-facing roles, particularly with top-level executives, airport authorities, or other key stakeholders.
Experience managing cross-functional projects involving multiple departments such as finance, legal, and design teams.
Strong understanding of financial statements and ability to perform financial modeling and return analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling), PowerPoint (presentations), and other business tools.
Ability to create well-structured, visually compelling presentations and business proposals.
Strong project management skills, including coordinating across departments and managing tight deadlines.
Research and analytical skills to assess market trends, political conditions, and economic factors.
