Your Role

The mission for this position is to lead the Edwards Vacuum and Atlas Copco vacuum sales team, business and activities of Middle East Region consisting of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Oman, Baharain, Iraq and Yemen. You are responsible to continuously develop the organization towards growth, market-leadership, entrepreneurship and profitability.

The job holder takes full ownership of the P&L and balance sheet. You have responsibility for all technical and commercial aspects of the Atlas Copco and Edwards Brand Vacuum business in entire region, while operating through local customer center.

Main responsibilities :

  • Be a coach and motivator for the Edwards Vacuum and Atlas Copco Vacuum Sales Team. Ensure continuous development of the Edwards and Atlas Copco sales team and have the right people at the right place.
  • Stay updated on market price dynamics and competitor actions, aligning product pricing strategies with market potential and current trends.
  • Develop the Edwards and Atlas Copco Business in Oil and Gas & Petrochemicals market in region.
  • Actively drive the development and implementation of deliverable sales, marketing and channel strategies, which fully cement the local market for existing and developing new technologies that will deliver a shift to a more sustainable product
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing sales team, optimizing resources to meet territory management objectives effectively.
  • Overall responsibility for Edwards and Atlas Copco financial results covers turnover, profit, working capital and Receivables.
  • Be a key member of the Company’s Management Team: Care and be a driving force for the Company’s overall performance and image.
  • Be familiar with Atlas Copco Group “The Way We Do Things” and “Business Code of Practice” and apply in daily operations.
  • Integrate a mix of promotional actions (mailing, articles, advertisements, seminars, digital marketing, SEO, SEA, GMB etc.) in the yearly marketing plan.
  • Define and optimize continuously the densification of the territory. Overall responsible for the strategy of an efficient sales management and Policy.
  • Support the AC Group’s vision “First in Mind, First in Choice” by contributing continuously to a Customer-Value and a Customer-Care driven culture. Live the Atlas Copco Group values “Interaction-Commitment-Innovation” in all-internal and external activities and relations.
  • Maintain optimum relationships with the Product Company to maximize the business development for Division.
  • Support the preparation and delivery of comprehensive business reports and presentations for Company, Business review, and executive meetings.

Educational requirements

  • University degree (Bachelor/Masters) in a related engineering discipline
  • Additional degree in business & administration or related work experience in managerial position is an advantage

Experience requirements

  • Proven sales experience in industrial equipment & capital goods of over 15+ years
  • Experience in O&G ; Petrochemicals with capital goods like Compressors, Chillers, Boilers, Vacuum Pumps will be added advantage.
  • Commercial and technical knowledge – having an understanding and an ability to use technical/professional knowledge and information.
  • Proactive, dynamic performer with strong entrepreneurial and leadership skills always striving at new challenges and ideas.
  • Experience in managing a sales team, with experience in both direct and indirect sales channels.
  • Ambitious personality with excellent commercial, diplomatic and negotiating skill.
  • Able to manage people and create trustworthy and fair relations.
  • Characters with empathy, caring, humility and humbleness to nurture and grow the people with future leadership skills

Knowledge

  • Sound technical understanding and interest in new products/technical developments
  • A clear understanding of optimized territory management
  • Strong sales technique and communication skills
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft office, comfortable using CRM platforms quit desire to learn new systems
  • Being a very proactive person, committed to achieving established goals, capable of working under high pressure and multi-tasking environments.

  • Strong organizational skills and strong attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines
