Care Area & Digital Monetization Solutions Analyst Intern

Job Description Summary

The Analyst will support the International Care Area & Digital monetization solutions team part of the wider International Clinical Partnership and Enterprise Solutions Team, by carrying out various activities necessary for the Care Area & Digital solutions Market strategy of the current portfolio. This role will also include collaborating with other teams within the Enterprise solutions team such as the Delivery & international accounts team to create an integrated Market strategy.
This role will also provide the opportunity to work on care area and or digital solutions projects for a portion or the whole period of the internship
The intern will be under the direct supervision of the Clinical Care Area & Digital Monetization team benefitting from their technical expertise guidance & support while aligning with the intern’s interest & career ambitions.

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
  • Data collection & desktop research in specific clinical care areas to support market strategy activities: from population health data to disease data & specific technologies utilized per disease areas including regulatory information & health economic information
  • Data display: sorting filtering & summarizing data points in a clear messaging form to deliver desired outcomes
  • Assessment of medical technologies in relation to specific disease areas this will include -assessment of the technology & assessment of competitive technologies-highlighting the gaps & strength points-assessment of customer feedback & needs
  • Registry creation: the creation of a registry containing information related to all medical technologies relevant to the care pathway of a specific group of diseases which will include information on the technologies & competition as well as the market
  • Attend team meetings necessary to understand the company’s portfolio & solutions to carry out internship activities
  • Support in the creation of value prepositions for various clinical areas
  • Prepare and deliver clear and insightful executive-level presentations internally and externally
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Educated to bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a scientific or clinical field Ideally w/ commercial or clinical experience
  • Foundational understanding of clinical areas & medical technologies related to them
  • Ability to conduct & complete desktop research to collect data and information related to clinical disease areas & medical technologies for those areas
  • Ability to us critical thinking to assess the positioning of specific medical technologies within disease areas in specific markets
  • Ability to use Excel for data management & display
  • Ability to create power point presentations to summarize key outcomes & results from data analysis activities
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and team-building skills. Must be highly skilled at written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to develop and execute multiple priorities and approaches to meet objectives
  • Fluency in English Language. Other languages (Spanish, Portuguese, German, Arabic, French) a plus.
