Commerical Operations Lead GCC
The Commercial Operations Lead GCC (COD) is responsible for developing and leading strategic organizational capabilities within the GCC Commercial Operations team. This includes overseeing the Learning, Development & Agility, Data & Analytics, Digital Marketing, Sales Force Effectiveness, and Gulf Commercial Strategy teams.
The primary responsibilities of the COD include creating data-driven commercial strategies and implementing them through innovative collaborations and technological advancements. The COD is also tasked with ensuring that these capabilities are developed across the entire organization in GCC countries. This position requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical market, the ability to navigate a dynamic ecosystem, and a strong focus on consumer and customer needs. Digital and data proficiency are essential, as the COD will lead the transformation of the company into an agile, digital, and data-driven organization.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Global teams and Local Markets to assess current and future challenges in developing strategies and iterate our commercial framework.
- Lead the LD&A, Data & Analytics, SFE, digital Marketing and Commercial Strategy teams to ensure the use of progressive tools and approaches in the development of commercial strategies.
- Enable capability building and implementation throughout the organization.
- Launch new capabilities of the Commercial Excellence Framework across Human Health.
- Lead the DnA transformation, leveraging digital and data platforms to increase the effectiveness of processes.
- Lead the innovation arm of the organization and ensure the company stays ahead of the curve.
- Lead the implementation of Agile methodology in the organization.
Required Experience and Skills:
- At Least 10 years of experience in Pharma / Healthcare and other related industries.
- Minimum of three years in leadership roles with a track record of driving change and achieving results in such areas as DnA, Digital Marketing, L&D, Agility, Business and Commercial Operations.
- Extensive experience in leading transformational initiatives.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
- Understanding of the health ecosystem.
- Growth mindset, innovation, and strategic thinking.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience leading diverse teams in a matrix environment with strong influencing skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to navigate and collaborate with stakeholders at various levels within the organization, including global functions.
