Contract Administrator

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Contract Administrator to join our team! In this role you will get to apply your skills to undertake the administration of prime and sub-contracts typical to the engineering industry.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Provide support on all financial and contractual matters throughout the life of the contract.
  • Provide support and manage the procurement, tendering and post contract administration of sub-consultants.
  • Provide support and manage the compilation of tender documents for the delivery of capital projects to award stage ensuring compliance with client requirements.
  • Ensure effective contract management deliverables and reporting are being maintained including drafting of contractual correspondence to the client and or sub-consultants.
  • Provide contract performance information including management of change control process. Administer variations and extension of time claims in line with the prime and sub-contracts.
  • Ensure prompt submittal and completeness of valuations and coordinate with clients’ finance / accounts teams to resolve payment issues reported.
  • Prepare final account with all supporting documentation for both prime and sub-contracts.
  • Assist in the day-to-day project administration functions where required.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or related field
  • Minimum 8 years post graduate demonstrable experience in all aspects of quantity surveying with a minimum of 4 years’ experience should be in UAE
  • Proven experience in analyzing contract variations and claims is mandatory
  • Excellent written contractual correspondence and verbal communication skills
  • Must be available in UAE

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Qualified and chartered by a recognized international body such as Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) will be an added advantage.
  • Ideally 4+ years of related work experience in road & infrastructure projects is preferred
  • Ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines
