With guidance and support from the Associate Director, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of transactional documents and supporting the team with corporate services, license applications, share transfers, issuance of powers of attorneys and provision of outsourced company secretariat.

Your New Role

This list of duties is not exhaustive and may change from time to time according to business needs:

Co-Sec, Administrative and Reporting Responsibilities

  • Provide Company Secretarial support to our Middle East office
  • Provide administrative support and assist with governance for the Middle East boards
  • Responsible for conducting research and communicating on industry updates
  • Maintain filing of internal paperwork, ensuring files are in order and regularly reviewed
  • Maintain company registers, memoranda, articles, key incorporation documents, share certificates, minute books, ledgers and important date calendars
  • Maintain the database of up-to-date precedent documents
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, policies and procedures

Support Management

  • Support the Associate Director to develop, coach and motivate the team to achieve their objectives
  • Support the Client Relationship Executives and Government Liaison Officers to deliver mandates in accordance with client expectations and in line with our strategy and objectives
  • Oversee the operations, and serve as the first point of contact as the Company Secretary
  • Monitor client satisfaction
  • Ensure you and the service delivery team adheres to any deadline provided by the client delivery scope and/or authorities.
  • Ensure client excellence, develop strong relationships with existing and new clients to build strong relationships
  • Identify new business opportunities for both new and existing clients
  • Build extensive partnerships with key stakeholders and in particular the licensing authorities, key governmental department and intermediaries
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the management team to outline plan and delivery
  • Support, train, coach and develop the team to create a culture of learning
  • Support and work with the Head of Operations in any process improvements
  • Oversee periodic review and audit of client portfolios

What will you need to succeed in this role?

As to be expected, we are searching for someone who can bring a range of skills and experiences to enhance the team. As such, there are a few essential skills we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of PQE in client facing senior role with Corporate Service Provider or
    Professional Service Provider in the UAE
  • Company Secretary experience
  • Analytical approach to quickly assess client potential and requirements
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Arabic (desirable)
  • Legal experience (desirable)
  • UAE Company Law experience (desirable)
  • KSA and Qatar companies law exposure and/or experience (desirable)
