The Purpose of the Role
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our service operations by developing accurate demand forecasts to support supply chain planning, inventory optimization, and service level improvements. This role ensures alignment between sales, operations, and finance through consensus forecasting and scenario planning.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain statistical forecasts using historical data, market trends, and input from cross-functional teams.
· Utilize tools like SAP and Excel-based models to simulate demand scenarios and assess impact.
· Use dashboards and workbooks to visualize demand patterns, service levels, and part-level performance.
· Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather information and provide support in demand planning activities
· Contribute to process improvements to enhance overall efficiency in demand planning
· Conduct formal forecast reviews with the Global planning team and improve forecast accuracy.
· Ensure collaboration between the business and supply to understand internal and external factors that may impact the forecast.
· Optimize balance between supply and demand to meet internal service KPI’s
· Identify excess inventory, rework stock, and QA issues; propose mitigation strategies.
· Flexible individual with a high level of intercultural sensitivity, able to adapt to a quickly changing environment and drive continuous improvement.
· Support initiatives like LTB (Last Time Buy) planning and product lifecycle transitions.
· Contribute to META projects and inventory plan
· Deep understanding of supply chain, logistics and service operation
YOU MUST HAVE
· 3+ years of planning, materials, sourcing, or other related supply chain experience.
· Strong knowledge of demand planning principles, methodologies, and tools.
· Advanced MS Office skills with proficiency in Excel.
· Familiarity with demand planning software and systems.
WE VALUE
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
· Business fluent in written and spoken English
· Experience with SAP ERP systems.
· Soft Skills: Cross-functional communication, prioritization, escalation handling, continuous improvement mindset
· Experience with a Demand Planning tool (e.g. RapidResponse, SAP APO module, Forecast Pro).
