What you’ll be doing
At Chalhoub, creativity is a team effort! You will be part of the founding team of Chalhoub Group’s in house studio, and specifically responsible to plan and manage the Product In and Product Out workflows. You will act as the detail-oriented link between the on-set teams and the supply chain teams, helping to organize product to come into the studio and be ready for processing through the shoot workflows. Experience in a fast-paced product processing role is required, eg a warehouse, ideally for an E-com retailer in fashion or homeware.
- Work closely with the studio management as well as supply chain & logistics team to plan and manage product deliveries in and out of the studio, designing delivery schedules timed best for both the studio and other key stakeholders
- Manage sample management process including any import related requirements
- Work closely with the studio management team to understand how to best allocate and arrange product for shoots for a variety of brands and type of products
- Follow all relevant eCommerce policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
- Maintain orderly and neat stock and receiving area
- Govern the product in and out scanning process and produce relevant reporting for supply chain side like intake and outflow reports to ensure there is no product loss
- Maintain an overview of where product is with the studio workflows and how we are tracking against SLAs
- Manage process to deal with damaged products or any other stock related queries
- Manage one product runner and identify additional resource needs based on intake estimates
- Support on set teams with any trouble shooting on the day
- Promote efficiency and ensure daily goals are met
- Build strong cross functional relationships across the organization, internally and externally
- Raise Purchase Orders and maintain budget tracking for any logistics related expenses
- Manage consumables stock and replenishment for the goods in and out areas
- Nurture a culture of transparency & accountability
What you’ll need to succeed
- 4-5 years as part of product movement team in a fast-paced product processing role, eg a warehouse, ideally for an E-com retailer in fashion or homeware.
- At home in fast paced studio environment working collaboratively across disciplines
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to creatively problem-solve and troubleshoot issues while remaining calm under pressure
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure with a can-do attitude and smile on your face
- Strong communication skills both in person and via email & phone
- Critical thinking / using logic and reasoning to identify issues upfront and ability to propose alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to opportunities
- Flexibility, willingness to shift gears to meet project deadlines and deliverables
- Familiarity with using Studio workflow tools, warehouse management tools and Oracle will be beneficial
