Emerging Market Precision Medicine MSL Lead

In this position, you will work together with important team members to effectively establish our Precision Medicine Strategy for our current and future projects. Roles & Responsibilities

  • Drive the launch of our precision medicine portfolio within Turkey, Gulf, KSA, NEMA, & JENA clusters (excluding Russia, CIS, and South Africa).
    Cultivate relationships with new external partners, including biologists, pathologists, geneticists, and their scientific societies and facilitate collaboration between Oncologists and Pathologists to streamline patient testing processes.
  • Collaborate with the country’s MSL and MAF teams to support programs aimed at growing awareness of biomarker testing.
  • Collaborate with external participants to support scientific activities aimed at enhancing knowledge of biomarkers and identifying potential speakers and early adopters for patient management.
  • Provide Precision Medicine expertise and medical education to cross-functional teams, focusing on launch readiness and patient identification through genetic testing. Supervise testing, patient journey, and leakage metrics to ensure efficient processes.
  • Develop and implement patient support programs for biomarker testing.
  • Organize internal and external educational activities to emphasize the importance of biomarkers in patient management and prepare the market for new therapeutic areas or indications.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for biomarker testing inquiries in the responsible countries and continuously update knowledge of products, patient treatment trends, and clinical activities and studies within the region.
  • Understanding the needs, key value drivers, practical treatment patterns, and scientific activities within the therapeutic area.
  • Collaborating closely with other teams, such as MAF, Medical Education, GCO, HEMAR, and Commercial, to create and implement a comprehensive plan for managing external stakeholders.
  • Proactively and reactively communicating scientific data to leading specialists.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have the following qualifications:

  • Equivalent experience: Medical Doctor, Pharmaceutical, or Nature Science university degree or equivalent experience.
  • Deep scientific knowledge in the therapeutic area.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and strong understanding of business operations.
  • Proven teamwork, leadership, and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated work experience and a strong understanding of scientific concepts necessary to establish credibility with leading specialists through collaborative relationships.
  • Awareness of business strategy and high customer focus with an understanding of the importance of business results.
    Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to a dynamic and diverse work environment.

Job Location
This role involves extensive travel across the EM countries and could be based in locations within any one of the countries in scope, including UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Turkey, and Egypt.
