Facilities Site Inspector
Job Description
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment.
- Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Manage and coordinate facility projects, including renovations, expansions, and relocations.
- Monitor and control facility budgets, ensuring that expenses are within approved limits.
- Ensure compliance with applicable health and safety regulations and codes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring high-quality service and cost-effective solutions.
- Plan and schedule preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure the longevity of facilities and equipment.
- Manage facility staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve facility-related issues.
- Physical ability to inspect facilities and perform manual tasks as necessary.
