The team you’ll be part of
Region Accounting in the Middle East North Africa Sub-Region forms part of CFO Corporate Controlling & Accounting.
You will be part of Country Management Team, attend to role of Country Finance Director of legal entities in Middle East North Africa Sub-Region and attend to Financial Accounting functions in designated countries. You will interface with auditors, external tax and accounting service providers, fiscal authorities, management and staff of various Business groups and functions.

What you will learn and contribute to
The Finance and Accounting Manager is responsible for managing, processing, and reporting the accounting activities of the relevant organization in compliance with Nokia’s accounting principles, internal controls policies, and reporting procedures as well as with external rules and regulations.
Nokia is looking for a highly motivated, self-driven candidate who will be able to work under pressure to perform:
- Statutory, Tax and SOX compliance activities with high quality according to local GAAPs and regulations.
- Management of Accounting functions, and timely performance and closure of Statutory and tax audits
- Governance for regional accounting standards and requirements, direct and indirect taxes
- Ensure technical quality in day-to-day operations
- Involved in legal entity liquidation process, driven by Corporate Tax.
- Provide support to other accounting functions in the region
- Business support regarding regional accounting
Your skills and experience
You have:
- Degree: Qualified Chartered Accountant, Certified Accountant, or equivalent
- At least 5-to-10-year experience in Big 4 audit firm or a Multinational
- Proficiency in Office 365 applications, specifically Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint. Good skills on SAP ERP will be added advantage.
- Good communication skills
It would be nice if you also had:
- Good Analytical and negotiation skills
- Methodological and problem-solving competencies
- Hands on approach to challenges
- Experience of working in matrix organization
