GL Accountant
Overview
To carry out the day to day accounting activities in the area of general accounting and basic bookkeeping functions under JD Edwards ERP system to have accurate entries in the books of Accounts.
Responsibilities
Accruals-Prepayments
– Prepares yearly accrual/prepayments at the beginning of the year and extract the expenses on a monthly basis in order to adjust the books according to actual bills.
– Reconciles the accounts & ensures that all transactions and entries are appropriately accounted.
Miscellaneous Accounts
– Prepares, reconciles and analyzes statements for a list of accounts in order to have the correct balances reflected on the system.
– Processes all vouchers related to fiscal stamps.
– Prepares a recurring voucher to extract the expenses on a monthly basis
Affiliated Accounts
– Prepares affiliated debit/credit notes and reconcile their accounts to ensure all amounts paid on their behalf are refunded from them
TM Purpose
– Acts as a role model by living Transmed Purpose on daily basis.
Qualifications
Academic Education & Professional Certifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or similar field
Operational & Managerial Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting
