Head of Finance – Africa

We’re looking for a Head of Finance to join our team in Africa.

What you’ll do:
- Lead and manage the regional Finance team, driving efficiency and engagement to create a “best in class” function.
- Act as a trusted senior advisor to the business to support decision-making.
- Oversee all aspects of finance within the region, including accurate and timely financial/statutory and management reporting, internal controls compliance, and business financial planning cycles.
- Provide revenue, cost, and working capital forecasts to the Regional MD and Finance Director.
- Lead planning and reporting of complex financial analysis, including customer evaluation, investment decisions, and commercial, contractual, and legal issues.
- Ensure strong local support to regional leadership through a team of business partners.
- Liaise with external and internal auditors, customers, suppliers, and advisors as required.
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
- Professional finance qualification.
- Relevant work experience in an international environment.
- Experience within an industrial/manufacturing business.
- Experience in leading teams across multiple locations.
- Strong project leadership and stakeholder management experience.
- Full P&L and balance sheet accountability with a track record of delivering results.
