Head of Financial Planning & Business Analysis (Head of Controlling)
Position
Christian Dior Couture Middle East is looking for its new Head of Financial Planning & Business analysis to lead the Controlling team based in Dubai. Dynamic work environment. Exciting projects to come. This position is a direct report to zone CFO.
Job responsibilities
Main Responsibilities
You’ll lead and supervise all activities related to Financial Planning & Business Analysis. This includes but is not limited to:
- Supervise and animate key Financial Planning processes:
- Timely deliver accurate financial statements and reportings in compliance with IFRS and Group guidelines
- Provide management with assertive analytical comments on the main variances versus budget and versus previous year
- Elaborate Budget & Estimates & 3Y plan processes in coordination with Retail managers and Heads of departments
- Develop competition surveys and market performance analysis
- Support the preparation of market Business reviews
- Drive financial profitability:
- Provide financial modelling in support of store opening projects or new business
- Forecast stock depletion and depreciation, and provide recommendations for optimization
- Timely investigate significant overspends and deviations vs Budget, and provide recommendations for remediation
- Ooptimize existing processes and tools to support the Business development
- Coach and develop Finance talents
- Project Leader.
Profile
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Master’ degree in Finance or Business administration
- 10+ years as Finance Leader in multinational and large-scale companies; a previous experience in retail industry is preferred

- Fluent in English. Arabic and French are a plus
- Expert knowledge of SAP, BO/BI, Advanced Excel and Power Point is mandatory.
