Mission & Main Objectives

Lead on the development and improvement of a range of communication channels, including the implementation, regular use and championing of an internal communications platforms, with employees, functions and in support of external stakeholders such as partners.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Overall: Develop, implement, and monitor the efficiency of NMEF internal communications processes

Communications Office

  • Draft/Review letters/communications from Leadership
  • Draft/Review letters to support official communications from functions to partners
  • Draft/Review Internal mailers/communications for employees (for official/corporate purposes)
  • Create internal communications material, such as letters, presentations, announcements, as and when needed
  • Develop stories for Nissan Insider App and Nissan News Channel in collaboration with PR Agency
  • Explore “What’s Next” communication platforms to consider as part of our internal communications mix (video, social, other)

All Employee Meetings (Town Halls)

  • Manage logistics of All Employee Meetings (AEM) such as monthly Town Halls, i.e., from booking the room to coordination with IT
  • Coordinate with NMEF Functions to ensure all content is submitted on time and on template
  • Elevate and enhance the Town Hall platform / experience to be more innovative, engaging, and interactive

Nissan Insider App

  • Manage the Nissan Insider App content and updates
  • Ensure sustained employee engagement on the App
  • Develop Creative Incentives to Boost Engagement on the App
  • Ensure effectiveness of App through performance tracking and regular surveys for continuous improvements

Call To Ambassadors

  • Work closely with the MarComs Social Media team to drive employee sharing of official social content as part of “Call To Ambassadors”
  • Dispatch “Call to Ambassadors” content through email and on Nissan Insider App
  • Innovate and enhance “Call to Ambassadors” Format / Experience

Events

  • Support the Corporate Communications team as necessary on ad-hoc projects, meetings, special events
  • On-ground support with logistics and media engagement at NMEF events

Collaboration

  • Build partnerships with key internal stakeholders and collaborate with all functions to support with developing and delivering communications
  • Collaborate with other NMEF functions and teams (such as Marketing, Social, HR…) to develop innovative content and tools (videos, podcasts, blogs) that will help inform, engage and excite employees
  • Ensure alignment with global/regional IC teams on internal comms activities (AEM, executive visits to NMEF…)
  • Work closely as part of the Corp Comms team to ensure consistency and leverage external comms activities with internal comms where applicable

Administration

  • Lead on developing, updating, and organizing the CorpComs files, documents, and folders
  • Manage the CorpComs internal email, ensure emails are being actioned if any
  • Manage Nissan BOX (content sharing) account for the Corp Comms function

Internal Activation/Events

  • Conduct regular meetings with respective functions (ex: HR) and committee to align on status of internal activations and requirements, for internal comms support
  • Create and review communication content to employees for relevant functions (such as HR), including letters, invitations, emailers, surveys etc.
  • Initiate and manage overall internal activations with a PR lead from initiation to execution and drive employee engagement

BACKGROUND & SKILLS REQUIRED

Specific technical skills

  • Minimum 7 years working experience in communications / marketing or similar background
  • Automotive experience is a plus
  • Excellent writing skills is a must
  • Public speaking skills is a plus
  • Interpersonal skills

  • MS Office (mainly Excel and PowerPoint)
