We are seeking a Junior FP&A Analyst to join our team in Dubai. This role will primarily focus on supporting the FP&A function, with a secondary responsibility of assisting the Accounting team with capital-related activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual looking to gain experience in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and rolling forecasts.
- Support the monthly/quarterly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions.
- Prepare and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to management.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze financial data
- Assist in the development of presentations and reports for senior management.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as required. Identify and implement process improvements within the FP&A function.
- Assist with the accounting for capital expenditures, including tracking, capitalization, and depreciation. Support the reconciliation of capital asset accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules related to capital assets.
- Maintain accurate records of capital asset transactions.
- Collaborate with the Fixed Asset team and other stakeholders to ensure accurate capital.com asset accounting.
- Support the implementation of new accounting standards related to capital.com assets.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2- 4 years of experience in FP&A or accounting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent Excel skills (including financial modeling).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Experience with financial reporting systems is a plus. Familiarity with IFRS is a plus.
- Business level proficiency in English or above (equivalent to B2 or above).
