A Snapshot of Your Day:
For this role we are looking for someone who is eager to learn and take on new challenges. You will be required to check emails to review requests from business partners or teams and manage adhoc requests from the HOD. You will be required to attend meetings with the HOD as well as Senior Lawyers while also independently managing your workload. The ideal candidate will have a ‘can do’ attitude and will be able to learn and grow within a fast paced environment.

Role and Responsibilities

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Provide Legal admin support.
  • Review terms and conditions related to Sales and promotions.
  • Experience in Contract reviews, NDA’s, Distribution agreements, marketing and service agreements
  • Business Partnering for Marketing and E-store teams
  • Data Privacy Advising & Compliance Advising
  • Support on projects including corporate and commercial
  • Strong PowerPoint skills
  • Support members of the legal function on a daily basis.
  • Budgeting and excel sheet knowledge

Skills and Qualifications

What You’ll Need:

  • Law school training required or legal background, admission to bar is a plus
  • 5 years’ of related experience either in-house or private practice or both.
  • Experience as a legal assistant or junior lawyer would be helpful to understand legal admin requirements
  • Experience reviewing legal documents and agreements and amending/drafting legal clauses
  • Understanding of Data Privacy Laws (assessment may be conducted)
  • Experience in negotiating agreements.
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Arabic and/or French fluency is a bonus
  • Strong Microsoft skills, including PowerPoint
  • Excellent problem solving skills with impeccable attention to detail
  • Significant ad hoc project experience.
  • Ethical, on-time, dedicated and committed (overall a good wok ethic)
  • Ability to work under pressure and to manage different stakeholders
  • Ability to adjust to new working environment and culture
