Logistics Executive

Zahr Freighters, a well-established logistics and freight forwarding company based in Dubai, is looking for an organized and proactive Logistics Executive to manage and coordinate day-to-day shipping and transportation operations. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, responsive, and passionate about driving operational efficiency in logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and oversee inbound and outbound logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory control.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs agents to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Monitor shipment tracking, documentation, and regulatory compliance for both domestic and international logistics.
• Prepare and manage logistics documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and clearance papers.
• Liaise with internal departments and clients to update shipment status and resolve delivery issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, stock levels, and cargo movements.
• Negotiate with vendors and service providers for cost-effective and reliable logistics services.
• Analyze logistics performance metrics and recommend process improvements where needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role, preferably in freight forwarding or shipping.
• Strong understanding of international trade terms, customs regulations, and shipping documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software (ERP or WMS systems).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle pressure and prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
